The 73rd Annual Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department Santa Claus Parade will be held on December 10, 2023. The parade will leave from the Carbonear Home Hardware parking lot at 1:00 PM. Anyone wishing to enter a float or group please message the department. Again this year the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department will be having two Sensory Zones. Residents are asked to please contact the Town office at 596-3831 and provide your name and civic address for collection. Deadline: 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 17, 2024 Note: Trees are to be placed curbside by 8 a.m. Friday, January 19, 2024. Natural Christmas trees will be collected only. (Not artificial) All tinsel, decorations, wire, lights, and stands must be removed. Christmas trees set out in plastic bags will not be collected.
