Today the Carbonear Volunteer Fire Department were honoured to donate a critical piece of equipment to a deserving fire department.

Chief Trevor Crawford along with 2nd Assistant Chief Don Antle and Mayor Sam Slade donated a Breathing Air Cascade System to the Random West Volunteer Fire Department. This piece will allow the department top fill up their SCBA cylinders at their own station.

On hand for the presentation was Chief Crawford, 2nd Asst. Chief Antle, Mayor Slade of the Town of Carbonear and Chief Lloyd Phillips and FF Robert Ings.
