International Women’s Day was Sunday, March 8. The theme this year is Give to Gain.

When we give, we gain.

Give To Gain emphasizes the power of reciprocity and support. When people, organizations, and communities give generously, opportunities and support for women increase. Giving is not a subtraction, it’s intentional multiplication. When women thrive, we all rise.

In the spirit of this, we are giving International Women’s Day a week of celebration.

For the last couple of years, we have asked women in the community to complete a spotlight that we could share. The response to that initiative continues to be overwhelmingly positive and we’d like to continue it this year as well.

We are going to start this off with Roxanne Lynch of Crooked Phil’s Cafe Ltd.
