We received nominations for Wallace (Wally) Watkins with kind messages describing ways he has helped people, non-profits and businesses in the community.

“Wally is a well-known community figure who always has a cheerful greeting for everyone. Every person he sees is met with a smile and a kind word. On snowy days, Wally can usually be seen on his red Kubota tractor, going up and down Water Street, helping the local businesses with their snow clearing. He often volunteers to help with community meals, and does his best to help his community in any way he can. “
