The Town of Carbonear have contracted a consultant to assist with completion of an Accessibility Plan which will consider a range of

factors that can create barriers such as inaccessible infrastructure and non-inclusive policies and technologies.

This plan, when developed, will help guide the Town in accessibility standards and inclusion practices.  The Town is creating an Accessibility Committee with 6-8 members.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please complete the form. As this is only a 6–8-member committee, only one person will be selected to represent each of the following groups.

If you are a person or support persons of the following:

Person with accessibility challenges or lived experience with a

disability (a disability includes a physical, mental, intellectual,

learning, or sensory impairment), Indigenous, Pride community,

multi-cultural community, or other disability
