For the information of the public, the Town has NOT issued a boil water advisory.

The Town will issue a boil water advisory if there are concerns of contaminants in the water system. This will occur if there are problems with the chlorinator and untreated water is going into the water system. Also, contaminants may enter the water system when a water main break occurs.

When there is a concern that the water is untreated or contaminants may have entered the system, the Town will announce a boil water advisory for the protection of those ingesting the water.

The Town is not aware of any untreated water or contaminants entering the system. Chlorine levels have been checked throughout the system and are within acceptable limits.
