About the workshop:
Learn the techniques of making a traditional braided rug from upcycled fabric. You will do braiding and basic sewing. No experience necessary, suitable for beginners.
Participants will make a small rug that could be used for a trivet or table centerpiece or even a cat mat, or added onto to make a larger rug if you wish.
Tools and materials provided, but if you have a favourite sewing needle and fabric scissors you are welcome to bring them.
