Welcome to the Bed Night Lunch Podcast, a podcast where we delve into the unseen history and folklore of Carbonear. During each episode we invite you to sit down and enjoy a nice Bed Night Lunch while we take a journey back through history.
Join Noah Green, Kaitlynn Hedd, Sara Clarke, Kaitlin Clarke, and Preston Griffin for a cup of tea and rest a spell while listening to stories of Carbonear. (See below for their biographies).

September 22, 2020: You’re Welcome: During this podcast, the group discusses about the Town of Carbonear Tourism and what the Town of Carbonear has to offer!
Ghost Stories: In this podcast, the group discusses some historical ghost stories as well as personal ghost stories during this Halloween Special!
Fairy Stories: During this podcast, the group discusses the folklore of fairies, and presents some local stories in the Bed Night Lunch Podcast.
World Wars: In this podcast, the group discusses the World Wars, and how they impacted Carbonear. This Podcast is dedicated to our local Veterans.

Biographies for the Bed Night Lunch Podcast
Sara Clarke: Co-host for our podcast, The Bed Night Lunch Podcast. Will be attending school at Memorial University in the fall to work on my English degree in the hopes of becoming a writer. And, I do have a fair share of hobbies such as writing, painting, drawing, photography and playing videos games. I hope you enjoyed this podcast as much as I did, and I hope to be back here again next year!
Noah Green: I’ll be attending my first year of Naval Architecture at the Marine Institute this coming fall. I’m working for the Town of Carbonear this summer as an EDT student. I love writing and playing music with friends as well as painting and shouting about politics. I’m the editor and co-host for the Bed Night Lunch Podcast. I’ve had so much fun working on this project this summer and hope to be able to return in the future.
Kaitlynn Hedd: I will be attending my second year at the Marine Institute studying Nautical Science this coming fall. I enjoy basketballll and volleyball and I love the outdoors, as well as hunting and fishing and hiking. I am an EDT (Economic Development and Tourism Student) with the Town of Carbonear. I had so much fun this summer and hope to be back again next year!
Preston Griffin: I am a second year Primary Care Paramedic student at the College of the North Atlantic. I enjoy sports and reading and I am also a co-host on the Bed Night Lunch Podcast. I had so much fun working on this podcast and I hope I can do it again next year!
Kaitlin Clarke: I recently completed my Bachelor of Arts with a major in Communication Studies and minor in Anthropology. I’m working for the Town of Carbonear this summer as an EDT student. I enjoy reading and writing, and I’m an avid hockey fan. I enjoy playing video games and talking about social justice issues. I am one of the co-hosts for the Bed Night Lunch Podcast. I have thoroughly enjoyed my summer working on the project and I hope to continue working on it in the future!
