In October of 2014, Carbonear Academy lost an amazing teacher and person to a very short battle with cancer.  Sarah Turpin was in her early 30’s when she passed away and Carbonear Academy are continuing to put off an annual event to keep her memory alive in their school.

Carbonear Academy will be hosting their 6th Annual Talent for Turpin night on Thursday, October 24th at 7 p.m. Admission will be a monetary donation and all proceeds from the event will go to the Janeway (NICU), a charity that Ms. Turpin’s family chose.
