The Town has an Accessibility Committee. There are currently vacancies on this committee.  The members will be persons with disabilities or persons that support people with disabilities.

TOC Accessibility Advisory Committee Application

During Fall, 2023, the Town of Carbonear contracted a consultant to assist with completion of an Accessibility Plan. The Accessibility Plan would   consider a range of factors that can create barriers such as inaccessible infrastructure and non-inclusive policies and technologies.

This plan will help guide the Town in accessibility standards and inclusion practices.
