DESCRIPTION:Winter Carnival \nFebruary 21 – March 1\, 2020 \nHosted by the Special Events Committee \n Slogan Winner \n“Snow’s  a Plenty in 2020” \nGracie Mugford\, Grade 3 \nCarbonear Academy \n Photo Contest   \nGet those cameras clicking and send us your best winter photo taken during 2020. There are three categories: Best Winter Scenery\, Best Winter Pet Photo and Best Family Fun Photo. Pictures can be dropped off at the Town Council Office or emailed to info@carbonear.ca.   Winning Photos will be posted on the Town’s website. No professional photos please. Judging will take place  February 26.  Photos must be pertaining to Carbonear and may be used for promotional purposes throughout the year. \nBest Dressed Snowman   \nLet’s get creative in the snow. Let those imaginations run wild and start building your SNOWMAN. Upon completion of your work of art\, snap a quick picture and send it along to the Council Office or email to info@carbonear.ca with your name and address.  Prizes will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place. \nDeadline for Photo and Best Dressed Snowman Contest – February 26 @ 2pm. \nNo Professional Photos Please \nArt Contest \n15th Annual Youth to Teen Art  \nCelebrating our Visual Artists. \nPrimary\, Elementary &  Teen Divisions.  Please drop off Artwork to the Town Office.
