DESCRIPTION:Public Notice: Urban and Rural Planning Act\, 2000 Notice of Adoption and Public Hearing \nTown of Carbonear\nMunicipal Plan\, 2025\nDevelopment Regulations\, 2025 \nPlease be advised\, the Carbonear Town Council adopted the Town of Carbonear Municipal Plan\, 2025 and Town of Carbonear Development Regulations\, 2025 on August 12\, 2025 \nIn general terms\, these documents would replace the Town of Carbonear Municipal Plan\, 2004 and Town of Carbonear Development Regulations\, 2004 and cover a range of planning and development topics\, including but not limited to housing\, commercial development\, heritage\, parks and open spaces\, transportation\, servicing \, agriculture\, and industry. \nA Public Hearing with an Independent Commissioner is scheduled to consider objections and representations on the proposed Municipal Plan and Development Regulations at the Carbonear Town Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday\, September 3rd\, 2025.  Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation should submit a signed written statement outlining the objection or representation to the Town by 4:30 p.m. on Monday\, September 1st\, 2025. \nThe amendments can be viewed at the Carbonear Town Hall during normal business hours.  The amendments are also available online at https://carbonear.ca/draft-municipal-plan-info-and-notices/ \nFor written submissions to the above notice: Email to carbonear@nf.aibn.com \nMail to P.O Box 999\, 256 Water Street\, Carbonear\, NL A1Y !C5 \nQuestions?
