SUMMARY:Braided Rug Workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nAbout the workshop: \nLearn the techniques of making a traditional braided rug from upcycled fabric. You will do braiding and basic sewing. No experience necessary\, suitable for beginners. \nParticipants will make a small rug that could be used for a trivet or table centerpiece or even a cat mat\, or added onto to make a larger rug if you wish. \nTools and materials provided\, but if you have a favourite sewing needle and fabric scissors you are welcome to bring them. \nInstructor: Deanne Dawe of Rustic Rag Rugs by Deanne \nWhen: 10am-3pm\, Saturday\, January 21\, 2023 \nWhere: Seniors’ Building\, 163 Water Street\, Carbonear\, NL \nCost: Free \nRegistration: Registration required and limited to 10 people.
