Photos Winter Carnival - 2007
Winter Carnival has been declared an unqualified success. In spite of all the snow or perhaps because of all the snow, events were well attended. The Carnival opened on March 1 at the Princess Sheila Na Geira Theatre with music by Generation Gap and the Songbirds from Bethany United Church. The indoor activities were followed by a wiener roast and fireworks. There were many winter events during the Carnival, including a ball hockey game at Hogan's/O'Keefe's Farm between the town councillors and the volunteer firefighters. There were events for all ages from children to a luncheon with music by Charlie Murtrey and a card game for senior citizens.
