Friday, July 30th, 2010
4:30pm Supper & Talent Show. Royal Canadian Legion. Hot Turkey Supper – 4:30 to 6 pm – Take Out or Eat In - $7. Local talent show @ 7:30. No cover charge. Door prizes. Sponsored by Molsons and Iceberg Rum.
7:00pm Carbonear Historic Walking Tours. Moxley’s Cemetery Walk. Tickets available at the Railway Museum or the Town Office. Starts and ends at the Railway Museum.
10:00pm Carbonear Days Weekend Dance at McNally’s. Featuring Dave and Greg Fitz – $5 cover.
10:00pm DJ Dar at Westside Charlies. $3 cover.
Saturday, JULY 31ST, 2010
All Day - Provincial Girls under-18 Soccer – Soccer Field
8:00 - 11:00 am Breakfast. Carbonear Lions Club – Adults – $6. Children (12 and under) – $3. Pancakes available.
10:00am - 5:00 pm Harbour Boat Ride. Public Wharf. Adults – $3. Children 5 and under – $2.
11:00am – noon Sculpin Contest. Public Wharf. Prizes to be awarded.
2:00pm - 4:00 pm Fibre Arts Exhibit. Display and Demonstration of crafts such as Quilts, Rug Hooking and Swedish Weaving. Music. Free Admission. Multi-purpose room, back of swimming pool building.More information > >
2:00pm – 4:00 pm Afternoon Tea. Bethany United Church Women. $5.
10:00 pm DJ Rod. Westside Charlies – $3 cover.

8:00am - 11:00 am Breakfast. Carbonear Lions Club – Adults – $6. Children (12 and under) – $3. Pancakes available.
12:00noon - 2:00pm Jigg’s Dinner. Carbonear Lions Club – $7.
12:00noon – Close All You Can Play Pool. Westside Charlies – $10.
2:00 pm 3rd Annual World Cup of Tiddly. Men’s, Women’s and Kids’ (12 and under) teams. 5 players per team (plus spare if needed). Pre-registration, rules and information on World Cup of Tiddly Page > > Registration also @ 1 pm Carbonear Recreation Complex. May bring own gloves and safety equipment. “Hooked on Tiddly” T-shirts will be available for $10.

10:30 am Carbonear Historic Walking Tours. Planters Walk – Tickets available at the Railway Museum or Town Office. Starts and ends at the Railway Museum.
11:00 am Carbonear Day Parade. Floats, Bikes, Wagons, Cars, Walkers, Costumes. Prizes awarded to all children participating. Parade starts at “Salvation Army Citadel” to the Community (Civic) Centre.
12:00 - 2:00 pm Fish & Brewis. Carbonear Lion’s Club - $7.
Noon Horseshoe Tournament. Carbonear Recreation Complex – $5. Sponsored by Coors Light.
2 :00pm - 4:00 pm Postage Stamps Collections Exhibit. Old Carbonear Post Office. Featuring Linda Kane from the Cupids Museum plus other collectors. Free postage stamps will be given to new collectors. There will also be an enactment and story of the Post Office fire where Miss Tryphonea Nicholl lost her life.
1:00pm - 5:00pm Carbonear Day Family Celebrations. Paddy’s Garden (if rain, Lions Club). Pony rides, cotton candy, spin wheels and many free family activities and games. Free admission.
2:00pm - 3:00 pm Little Miss & Mr. Carbonear. Paddy’s Garden. Pre-registration – call Denise @ 596-3213. 16 contestants accepted on a first-come basis.
3:00 pm B & M Partyland. Paddy’s Garden. Music & entertainment show for children. No charge.
6:00 pm – Close 2 for 1 Martinis. Westside Charlies.
7:00 pm Free Swim. Carbonear Pool.
